Feng
Shui
literally means WIND and WATER.
A home
or workspace that has been “feng-shui-ed” feels welcoming and good to
be
in. Feng Shui is the art and practice of
enhancing the energy in our living and working environments to bring
about
greater health, happiness, and more vital productivity.
The roots
of Feng Shui are thousands of years old, but its principles transcend
time and
culture. It is not a fad. It has many different schools and
expressions
(e.g. Form School,
Compass School, Black Hat Sect, Intuitive.) In fact, every
traditional culture has a
version of it – it is not a religion. Every person does
understand what it is:
we really KNOW when a space feels good, and when it doesn’t. Much
of it is actually common sense – fix it,
clean it, replace it. It is not magic.
Feng Shui
can assist us in all areas:
decision-making, partnerships,
finances, creativity, career, health,
and
more. Our spaces act as mirrors of our inner state and affect us deeply
on both
a conscious and unconscious level.
However, since we are part of our environment, we can influence and
change it with the right intention – one that is beneficial not only to
ourselves,
but also to the highest good of all concerned….
